Francisco Ceric Garrido

Director, Associate Professor

Francisco Cerić is a biologist and Doctor in psychology of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Currently he is Research Coordinator of the Faculty of Psychology at Universidad del Desarrollo and Director of the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory at the Centro de Apego y Regulación Emocional.

His research area has been focused in neurobiological basis of cognitive processes. Specifically, his interest it is centered in studying how feelings regulate behavior from a neuroscientific comprehension.

Currently, he is a professor in neurobiological basis of behavior, neuroscience, cognitive psychology, methodology of investigation, investigation in psychology, affectivity and psychological processes.

Research areas

Neurobiological bases of cognitive processes. Specifically, his interest focuses on studying how emotions regulate behavior from the view of neuroscience.
