The School of Psychology at Universidad del Desarrollo welcomed the third generation of students of the Doctoral Program in Developmental Science and Psychopathology

On the 24 of january, the Center of Attachment and Emotion Regulation (CARE) of the School of Psychology at Universidad del Desarrollo welcomed the third generation of students of the Doctoral Program in Developmental Science and Psychopathology. The pychologists Claudia PizarroMartín Castro, Mauricio Baririentos, Tania Valdés and Tamara Cabrera; and the physiotherapist Lisseth Barra will start their postgraduate studies in March 2019.

The director of CARE, Dr.  Jaime Silva, welcomed the students and introduced them to current students and facultypresent the team and the students of previous generations. María Jesús Ihnen, coordinator of the Doctoral Program gave the new students relevant information about the program and accompanied them to visit the CARE facilites. Later, the new students visited the San Carlos de Apoquindo Campus, where they met the Dean of the School of Psychology, Teresita Serrano, who discussed with them their expectations about the School of Psycholgoy and the Doctoral Program.

Finally,  the CARE laboratories presented their research agenda and current projects to the new students. The laboratories include the Laboratory of Neurobiological Basis of Cognition and Emotion, in charge of Dr. Francisco Ceric; the Laboratory of Cognitive Science directed by Dr. Gabriel Reyes; Sensivity to stress and deviated development paths Laboratory directed by Dr. Jaime Silva; and the Family, Adolescence and Infancy Lab, directed by Dr. Daniela Aldoney.
