On the 24 of january, the Center of Attachment and Emotion Regulation (CARE) of the School of Psychology at Universidad del Desarrollo welcomed the third generation of students of the\u00a0Doctoral Program in Developmental Science and Psychopathology. The pychologists\u00a0Claudia Pizarro<\/strong>,\u00a0Mart\u00edn Castro, Mauricio Baririentos, Tania Vald\u00e9s and Tamara Cabrera<\/strong>; and the physiotherapist\u00a0Lisseth Barra\u00a0<\/strong>will start their postgraduate studies in March 2019.<\/p>\n

\n

The director of CARE, Dr.\u00a0\u00a0Jaime Silva<\/strong>, welcomed the students and introduced them to current students and facultypresent the team and the students of previous generations.\u00a0Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Ihnen,\u00a0<\/strong>coordinator of the Doctoral Program\u00a0gave the new students relevant information about the program and accompanied them to visit the CARE facilites. Later, the new students visited the\u00a0San Carlos de Apoquindo Campus, where they met the Dean of the School of Psychology,\u00a0Teresita Serrano<\/strong>, who discussed with them their expectations about the School of Psycholgoy and the Doctoral Program.<\/p>\n

Finally,\u00a0 the CARE laboratories presented their research agenda and current projects to the new students. The laboratories include the\u00a0Laboratory of Neurobiological Basis of Cognition and Emotion<\/strong>, in charge of Dr. Francisco Ceric; the\u00a0Laboratory of Cognitive Science<\/strong>\u00a0directed by Dr. Gabriel Reyes;\u00a0Sensivity to stress and deviated development paths Laboratory<\/strong>\u00a0directed by Dr. Jaime Silva; and the\u00a0Family, Adolescence and Infancy Lab<\/strong>, directed by Dr. Daniela Aldoney.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
