The bidirectional nature of intrafamilial relationships, with reciprocal effects between adults and children \/ adolescents is acknowledged. Likewise, specific characteristics of family members and the family context that influence the way that mothers and fathers are involved with their children are considered. This line of research focuses on three moments in the life cycle that are associated with relevant changes, such as: the transition to motherhood \/ parenthood, childhood, and adolescence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We research the ways mothers and fathers participate in their small kids\u2019 life and their influence in children\u00b4s development.
