The Students who obtain their doctoral degree in the program of Development Sciences and Psychopathology will be able to:
In terms of knowledge:
- Possess broader theoretical knowledge in the different areas and themes related to Development Sciences and Psychopathology.
- Master advanced knowledge in research methodologies.
- Develop a critical understanding of the different (theoretical?) models that characterize the Development Sciences and Psychopathology, to detect new requirements (challenges?) in the generation of knowledge.
- Be familiar with the current principles (knowledge?) and evidence on adaptive and maladaptive human functioning, from diverse perspective ranging from biological to socio-cultural models.
In terms of skills:
- Master theoretical knowledge and practical research tools to perform within the context of both basic and applied psychology.
- Transfer the acquired knowledge to satisfactorily perform in the different areas of research, teaching and intervention, proposed by Development Sciences and Psychopathology.
- Be able to pose novel research questions about diverse Development Sciences and Psychopathology related issues, as well as to propose research designs and methodological strategies to answer to these questions.
- Use theoretical and practical teaching tools.
In terms of attitudes:
- Demonstrate commitment to the central research lines of the Doctorate program.
- Be autonomous in the development and execution of an integral research process.
- Contribute to society with new, research-based knowledge in the field of Development Sciences and Psychopathology.
